“Que el espejo, las revistas y la tele se vayan al carajo”

Sobre la belleza.
Cuando me miro en el espejo cada mañana no me gusta del todo la imagen que refleja. Los años han ido pasando y nadie es inmune a eso: se me ha ido cayendo el pelo, y todos los modelos nuevos que aparecen en reposición son blancos. Mi cara está manchada en los cachetes y el bigote (lo que hace que de lejos se vea como si en realidad tuviera uno), hay ojeras bajo los ojos rojos, surcos junto a la boca y en la frente, más patas de gallo y pecas nuevas.
Del cuello para abajo no quiero ni hablar, ya tengo casi 40 años y tres hijos que son mi vida. Ellos se tomaron mi cuerpo durante dos años cada uno (entre el embarazo y la lactancia) y cuando me lo devolvieron lucía muy diferente al cuerpo que les presté en un principio.
Existen varias alternativas para luchar contra la gravedad, el exceso de peso, las canas y las arrugas: horas de gimnasia, cosmetología, peluquerías y hasta cirugías. Pero en términos de recursos, me llevaría muchísimo tiempo, energía y dinero arreglar lo que a mis ojos parece estropeado, y creo que no estoy dispuesta a usar tan preciados recursos en reparar algo que me ruega que lo quiera más y lo trate mejor: mi subestimado cuerpo. ¿Por qué existe el espejo? O más bien, ¿por qué debo rendirle culto al espejo? ¿Por qué a los humanos nos atrae tanto la belleza? Esa belleza perfecta, la que aparece en revistas y en la tele, esas modelos flaquitas que se mueven gráciles cuyo cuerpo las sigue sin rebotar… es que sólo es esa la
belleza que aparece publicada, y a todos nos parece bonito.
Hoy quiero protestar, porque la sociedad está criando niños inseguros, llenos de publicidad engañosa que muestra sólo belleza física. Ahí está la clave, ¡es sólo belleza física! Y luego pienso en los seres humanos que han pasado a la historia por sus grandes hazañas y aportes a la humanidad, y me doy cuenta de que muy pocos de ellos contaban con esa belleza física que tanto añoramos los que somos inseguros. Y me doy cuenta de que el físico es una cáscara, y que si nos pudiéramos pelar, como la fruta, veríamos interiores deliciosos, dulces, fragantes y suculentos. Sonrío. Y al hacerlo me veo linda por primera vez en el día, porque sonríen mi boca, mis ojos, mis cachetes y mi nariz. Me pongo mis aritos, pues me parece que iluminan mi cara y me hacen ver muy femenina, y ser femenina me gusta. Aunque mi marido dice que, si pudiera verme a través de sus ojos, me daría cuenta de que no necesito accesorios, ni gimnasia y mucho menos espejos traidores, porque le parece que soy maravillosa así tal cual; nada que agregar y nada que quitar.
Yo me arreglo de todos modos un poco para sentirme mejor con mi imagen, porque demoraré mucho tiempo, quizá toda la vida, en creer a pies juntos esas palabras de mi marido. Y me pongo a trabajar, cosa que me gusta mucho y me hace sentir talentosa y grande. Empiezo a olvidarme de mi cuerpo, de mis defectos, de mis canas y de mis manchas, y pongo toda esa energía que podría usar en repararlo, en hacer de mi trabajo algo precioso. Miro a mis hijos y veo todo lo que he recorrido: mi cuerpo amoroso me ha acompañado y servido durante todo el trayecto… ¡no está estropeado!, nunca lo estuvo ni lo estará, pues es un cuerpo
orgullosamente usado y vivido. Como los mejores libros: si están arrugados y desteñidos es porque los han leído muchas veces, lo que indica que su contenido es espectacular.
Subestimado cuerpo el mío; le daré más cariño, lo dejaré comer más chocolates, usaré joyitas que brillen porque me gustan, y si me dan ganas, me haré un tatuaje que me recuerde que, así como yo soy, soy perfecta. Que el espejo, las revistas y la tele se vayan al carajo con sus mentiras acerca de la belleza.

Here?s a quick oneliner that you can run locally:

Status badge support for both builds and releases has been available for quite some time. With the wiki it is also super easy to create a dedicated page that shows the status of the entire project CI pipeline by embedding the status badges into a markdown document.
While one could certainly manually go to each build and release, turn on the status badge support and then manually add it to the wiki, this task is cumbersome and screams ?automation?.
So I wrote a script to automate it. The big plus here is the script itself can run as a (scheduled) build/release and thus updates the wiki automatically to include all current pipelines every day.
The script simply iterates all projects, builds and releases and outputs them into a nice format. It lists builds and releases in separate tables alphabetically:
It has the same filters as my previous script to filter projects, builds and releases.
The script also has two modes: Readonly or read/write. The first will merely get all the badges where possible, whereas the second mode needs write access to enable badges.
By default any new release definition has its badges disabled and they must be manually enabled (per environment). If you grant the script write access, it will automatically enable those by updating the release definition for your.
With read-only access, the script will only display builds/releases where the badges are enabled and ignores all other pipelines.
Usage
Since I wanted it fully automated I have setup a scheduled build that runs once per day and regenerates the markdown file and uploads it to the internal project wiki.
The build is ?slightly complicated? since I didn?t want to save the wiki and the script in the same repository (you are of course free to do so)
I create two repositories: ?DevOps? and ?wiki?. The first contains the script(s), the second is used for the wiki (duh).
The pipeline works based on the DevOps repo and is scheduled to execute these 3 simple steps daily:
Download wiki repo into temporary folder using git commandline
Run script from actual DevOps repo to regenerate markdown file and save output into wiki repo
Commit and push wiki repo using git commandline
The last step will only create a new commit if there are actually any changes in the file! And if it does the Azure DevOps team wiki is automatically updated.
